Farah Safwat is an LSE economics graduate with a deep passion for economics. She gained considerable financial experience during working at Vodafone, the leading telecommunication company in Egypt. She focused on financial analysis, budgeting and control. Farah also gained immense knowledge about politics since she sat the Egyptian ministry of foreign affairs exam. Farah was a handball international champion, dedicated to the sport for 20 years and participating in numerous national and international tournaments. She was also part of the Egyptian national team. Farah engaged in a significant amount of extracurricular activities and Voluntary work, and most recently volunteered in the Rio Olympics 2016. Farah loves adventurous traveling, history and books.
